As part of our Orca cooler review, we performed a Seven Day Ice Challenge, in which we compared other roto molded high end coolers like Pelican coolers for sale, Grizzly, Igloo, and Yeti Coolers for sale vs the Orca 75 qt. We can honestly say that the Orca cooler had no problem holding it’s own against the competition. In most cases, the Orca cooler outperformed the more expensive rivals.
Several times each day our staff moved the beverage cans and bottles around in the coolers to simulate real world use and each of the coolers were given 24 hours of pre-cooled time before we began the actual testing. After seven days, the Orca cooler still had some ice left. Not much, but some. We can’t say the same for most of the others.
